Apple wrapped in Pork

My step by step method of making apple wrapped in pork. I think I want to make this my go to dish. Haven't got the sear down yet cause I'm a little out of touch with my kitchen skills but working my way back to master chef status!


Cut some Granny Smith Apples

Evenly spread out spices between thin slices of pork. As you can see I'm pro at that.

Lay them apples on the pork, and brown sugar them up.

Wrap that @#$%!

Butter the pan and fry like rice. Not really but it rhymes

Stapler base does something

So today I learned that the base of a stapler actually does something. I was stapling some study guides together and then I look at the back of the paper and the staple is all wrong. Then I notice the base that I always swivel just to play with to kill time actually does something. I thought it was just a weird happy face conveniently on the bottom, who knew it was functional.

I wonder what's the purpose between the two forms. I feel all staples with smiley face down are gonna scratch everything. Anyways, staple the right way my friends.

Keyboard drawer

So I decided to make a keyboard drawer to increase my work efficiency. Ergonomically speaking this will save me neck and arm strain and increase my efficiency by almost 40%. I kid, but I feel these drawers under the desk actually do help.

I has the option of ordering one online for about $20~$40 dollars for a mediocre drawer and kind of settle with it or learn something new and try and make one. I decided the latter. It took me awhile organizing and understanding what materials to get but I got everything for roughly $30.

The following prices are listed below.
$7 piece of wood
$8 brackets
$5 sliders
$7 nuts/bolts/screws
$2 sand paper
$3 spray coat


At Home Depot you can have your pieces of wood cut for free. Below I am just sanding it down.

Spray on adhesive I used. Kinda didn't do much, and smelt really bad. Maybe I needed to spray more consistently.

Smelt so bad, had to leave it out for like 40 minutes.

Sliders man!

Attached brackets to sliders.

Realized Brackets were faced backwards, fixed it.

Probably the hardest part was drilling these flat screws into an already polished IKEA wood desk. It took and some improv but we were able to get by. The sliders were kind of a pain as well though because the screws attached needed to be flat for the wood body to slide cleanly through the rails.

Finished! Now I have more desk space!
